The Story of The Thing. Members of an American scientific research base in Antarctica are up against a parasitic extraterrestrial parasite that can precisely imitate its prey. They quickly learn that this mission would be more difficult than they anticipated, since they have no way of knowing which members of the team have already been absorbed, and their paranoia threatens to split them apart.
